Vice Governor Appreciates Launch of Food and Beverage Service Handbook by APJI

It can be a clue for entrepreneurs, especially those engaged in the food and beverage sector

The city administration continues to commit implementing health protocols, especially during the transitional large-scale social restriction (PSBB) in each activity unit, including the tourism sector.

Jakarta Vice Governor Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza) took his time to attend the launch of 'Food and Beverage Service Handbook in the New Normal Period' published by the Indonesian Jasaboga Entrepreneurs Association (APJI) at Borobudur Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Monday (7/13). He appreciated it as a means of education for entrepreneurs.

Vice Governor Urges City/Regency Council Members to Socialize Health Protocols Massively

"Remember, COVID-19 is still around us and is very dangerous. Therefore awareness to understand and practice what we have got from this book is very important. It can be a clue for entrepreneurs, especially those engaged in the food and beverage sector, to prevent transmission of COVID-19 to others," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

As for the information, it happened a few relaxation activity units lately. Nevertheless health protocols were still mandatory in a bid to lead a healthy, safe and productive society.

According to him, the current transition period gave the Jakartans a room to be productive again to revive economic conditions, but should still pay attention to health protocols.

"Thereby the APJI's step that has launched the handbook gets from the city administration. It is because the book has explained the rules and regulations for businesses in detail, starting from restaurants, cafes and restaurants," he explained.

Hopefully it could help the city and could invite residents to uphold the discipline of implementing health protocols to curb the virus.

As for the information, this important moment was also attended by Tourism and Creative Economy Minister, Wishnutama Kusubandio; Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Irwandi; and ranks of APJI management.
